Diablo Valley College offers Certificate’s of Achievement in Architecture Technology, which brings to fruition high quality architectural technicians. Students are exposed to the graphics used in architecture, preparation for work drawings, pencil/pen/ink sketching, construction process, materials construction, mechanics and strength of materials, elementary physics, architectural history, math, and surveying. DVC implements the latest in technology including CAD and animation software, thus providing students the best opportunities to succeed in the highly competitive yet extremely rewarding field of architecture.

Design Program
Instituted in 1949, Diablo Vally College (DVC) offers an array of Associate of Arts Degrees in liberal arts and Certificates of Achievement in various occupational programs. The college, which is publically supported, has low-cost access to quality higer education. DVC serves 25,000 students of all ages and levels each year and continues to be the college of choice for those desiring to transfer to the University of California and the CSU-sytems.
