Liberal Studies

The Harvard Extension School offers a Master of Liberal Arts degree that can lead to many different outcomes. Some graduates continue on to further graduate studies, or doctoral or professional programs. Some use the degree for career advancement purposes, while others simply gain a sense of personal enrichment. With 19 fields of study offered within this interdisciplinary program (including archaeology, linguistics, and film), there’s truly something to be gained by everyone from the Master of Liberal Arts degree.

Requirements

Undergraduate: successful completion of 3 courses in program, TOEFL. Extension School courses are open enrollment. There are requirements for admission to programs. Graduate: undergraduate degree, successful completion of 3 courses in program, TOEFL. Certificate: undergraduate degree, TOEFL.

Arts and Humanities Degree

The Harvard Extension School offers nearly 600 courses representing over 60 fields of study, and thus resulting in numerous paths to personal enrichment and professional development.
