Regent University aims to represent the nation’s academic center for Christian thought and action. The institution enrolls over 3,000 students in nine different academic schools among two campuses (Virginia Beach and Washington D.C), and online distance education encompassing the globe. Regents 135,000 square foot Communication and Performing Arts Center opened in 2002, offering film and animation studios which combine in making the building one of most technologically advanced communication centers on the east coast.
