Bachelors Degree
A bachelor's degree is usually an undergraduate academic degree awarded for a course or major that generally lasts three or four years.
Under the American system, bachelor's degrees within a certain course of study are not ranked or differentiated since the undergraduate Grade Point Average (GPA) is usually used to measure performance. Music
Oakland's Bachelor of Arts in Music degree offers a general education without major specialization in music. Students must complete the departmental ear-training examination to fulfill the requirements in the Music Handbook. A minimum of 124 credits are necessary for completion of the BA in Music Degree.
