Music
The Marylhurst University Music department believes that music, with its blending of emotion and intellect through physical expression, is the quintessential art form. Classes are kept in a smaller, more personal environment than is often found at a prestigious university. Maintaining academic flexibility, the program delivers core musical training within a liberal arts context. Students can choose from a number of courses according to their desired area of emphasis, be it songwriting, composing, or entrepreneurship.
