Religious Studies

The Laurentian University system offers a Bachelor of Arts in Religious Studies degree, with courses taught at Huntington University, the University of Sudbury, and Thorneloe University. The central mission of the program is to strengthen individuals understanding of spirituality, faith, and their own purpose in life. Courses offered on the three campuses include subjects regarding world religions, religion and its cultural impact and implications, and Judeo-Christian theology.

Religion Degrees, Programs, and Courses

Laurentian University (1960) launched its distance education program, Envision, in 1972. The largest bilingual distance education programs provides complete degree programs, including 11 in English, and five in French. Undergraduate degree programs include: Gerontology, Law and Justice, History, Native Studies, Psychology, Sociology, Women's Studies.
