Accounting

Accounting has been a staple of Golden Gate University since 1908. They offer Bachelor of Science in Accounting, Undergraduate and Graduate Certificates in Accounting, Master of Accountancy, and an MBA with Concentration in Accounting. GGU prepares their students for professions in all of the following: public accounting (audit, tax, and consulting); private accounting; non-profit accounting; and government service (IRS, Securities and Exchange Commission).

Requirements

Graduate: MBA programs; statement of purpose, GMAT score report, transcript. Other Master’s Programs; statement of purpose, undergraduate GPA of at least 2.5 (except MAC requires 3.0, MAS requires 3.2). Certificate: transcript from an approved institution, some certificate programs require prerequisite courses that students must meet.

Founded in 1853, Golden Gate University has been dedicated to the training of working professional for more than a century. Their Cyber Campus originated in 1997 as a means of connecting with more students, moving the university ahead into the twenty-first century.
