Radiologic Technology

The University of Missouri, Columbia School of Health Professions’ Radiologic Science degrees are offered with a specialization in Radiography and Nuclear Medicine Technology. Graduates will be skilled in many forms of imaging procedures and technologies including: computerized axial tomography, magnetic resonance imagining, cardiovascular-interventional technology, mammography, bone densitometry, ultrasound, and x-ray. The nuclear medicine specialization studies the use of extremely small amounts of radioactive compounds in order to assess the body’s organs.
