Political Science

The Social Science and Human Service Department at Parkland College offers Associate in Arts degrees in Political Science. Students obtain an in depth look at the theory and practice of governments and politics enabling them to analyze political systems and their implications. Parkland’s faculty is skilled at instilling an understanding of the past and present policies of governments, which in turn, enlighten students to more contemporary and future issues and situations.

Parkland College was founded in 1966 and has been providing affordable vocational-technical and academic education ever since.
