Northwest Indian College Degrees

Northwest Indian College was founded in 1983 as a private, non-profit institution, controlled and chartered by the Lummi Indian Business Council. The purpose of NIC is to provide post-secondary education to the Native American citizens of Northwest Washington. The college broadcasts courses via satellite to reservations throughout the northwest.

Hospitality Management Degree

The Hospitality Management program at Northwest Indian College is designed to prepare individuals for management careers in restaurants, hotels, casinos, and all areas of the tourism industry. Students are educated on a broad range of business fundamentals relevant to hospitality, and are given the opportunity to select elective courses that concentrate on their individual interests.

Public Administration Degree

Northwest Indian College offers Associate of Science degrees in Public and Tribal Administration. Graduates posses skills needed for immediate implementation in different levels of public and tribal administration. The associate degree program consists of 90 total credit hours.
