Programs in Science

The University of Winnipeg (1871) is a comprehensive undergraduate institution that also offers selected master's programs. Placing high value on academic freedom, self-governance, and community service, UW encourages students to grow intellectually and develop all aspects of their lives. For 15 years, UW has provided distance learning programs to certain northern areas through live satellite, teleconferencing, and web-based discussions. Over the last decade, the university's dedication to excellence and accessibility has driven it to branch out to students in urban Winnipeg and some southern communities using cable TV.
