Archaeology

The University College of the University of Maine System’s Classical Studies Certificate program studies the time period between the Bronze Age and the fall of Rome. From language to law, to politics to culture, curriculum will address all aspects of life in the classical era. This epoch comprises the basis of western civilization, and is examined in-depth for the purpose of gaining a more profound understanding of where we are today as individuals and as a society.
