Child Development
The Child Development program at Concordia University, Minnesota, is geared towards educating individuals who are genuinely interested in making a difference in the lives and families of others. Curriculum guides students through the world of young children, presenting theory and insight into families in early childhood settings. Through assessment of children’s learning styles and creation of individual strategies, students gain an understanding of how to develop and nurture positive family relationships.
Requirements
Undergraduate: 50 credits transferred, 2 reference letters, resume, 4-day residency for distance ed. Graduate: accredited accalaureate degree, 4-day residency for distance ed., portfolio, 2 reference letters. Certificate: high school diploma.

Concordia College Moorhead Minnesota’s mission: “To influence the world by sending into society thoughtful and informed men and women dedicated to the Christian life.� The institute is a private, co-educational, four-year liberal arts college of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.
