Adelphi’s Business Administration/Management program acknowledges the diverse world of business by offering a multitude of BBA degrees with different specializations. A general BBA degree is offered, nevertheless, some students choose to pursue a BBA in Management Specializing in: marketing, finance, human resources, or management in information systems. Management majors are able to consider all the aforementioned before embarking on their career.

Originally, Adelphi was founded in Brooklyn as a liberal arts institution chartered by the State Board of Regents in 1896. The institution relocated in 1929 to its current location in Garden City and has been evolving ever since. Adelphi has added nursing, social work, doctoral-level Clinical Psychology, the Schools of Education, and the Business and University College. The 1990’s brought upon the addition of the Honors College and The Center for Health and Human Services.
