Child Development

Washington State University’s Extended University Services offers a Bachelor of Arts in Human Development through its Distance Degree program. Instruction focuses on life crises, and how such events affect both an entire family, as well as each generation within the family unit. Comprehensive teaching of human development theory is combined with an internship in a local community setting, preparing graduates for careers in family program coordination and management, domestic violence case working, and a myriad of other state, federal, and privately funded organizations.

Requirements

Undergraduate: Must have 27 semester accredited course, transferable, college credits, with a GPA of 2.0 or better. Graduate: An accredited bachelor's degree.
