Anthropology

Athabasca University offers BA degrees concentrating in Anthropology. Graduates will be familiar with the four sub-fields of Anthropology: archaeology, biological anthropology, cultural anthropology, and linguistic anthropology. The aforementioned implements a vast understanding of the people throughout the world and adopts a comparative and holistic approach to understanding humanity of the past and present. The Bachelor degree can be obtained in three years while the Master’s takes four.

Athabasca University (AU) is a publicly funded institution of the Province of Alberta and reports to the government through the Minister of Advanced Education.
