Iowa Wesleyan College offers Art degrees in two different fields: Art Education, and Studio Art. The Art Education major is geared towards meeting the academic needs of aspiring K-12 teachers, providing a strong foundation in various subjects from studio art to art history. The Studio Art program, however, focuses on individuals pursuing careers as independent artists or desiring to continue on to advanced graduate studies. Both curriculums include a personally-tailored internship.

Online Bachelors Degree at Iowa Weslyan College
The oldest liberal arts college west of the Mississippi River, Iowa Wesleyan College (1842) has provided distinctive educational programs to the southeast community of Iowa. In 1991, the college launched its distance learning program has been able to meet the needs of needs of students beyond southeastern Iowa. Iowa Wesleyan's programs place a strong emphasis on service-learning, field experience, and life-skills (communication, reasoning, valuing, and social effectiveness). Many graduates move onto professions in teaching, business, nursing, and social services.
