Management Information Systems
Recognizing that many careers in today’s world require some degree of information technology, the IT program offered at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute combines an Information Technology curriculum with that of another field of study. Graduates of the program will have a solid background in computing, allowing them to feel comfortable in any work environment. Combining study of a student’s personal chosen concentration with an exploration of all aspects of information technology (computing, as well as social, legal, ethical issues), RPI is determined to stay on the cutting edge of the academic world.
Requirements
Graduate: completed graduate application, bachelor's degree, 3.0 undergraduate GPA, brief statement of background and goals, 3 letters of recommendation, official transcripts from all colleges and universities. Certificate: application form, prerequisites for all courses, transcript of bachelor's degree (or highest degree earned), bachelor's degree with 3.0 undergraduate GPA.
