Family Studies

The main objective of this degree is to articulate the definition and role of the Human Service Professional—most particularly the role of the family life professional. The general principles and philosophy of family life education are deeply explored and studied in conjunction with the ability to plan, implement, and evaluate such educational programs. The program also works to create and instill leadership abilities into its students.

Requirements

Undergraduates: college transcripts verifying undergraduate degree; two letters of recommendation; resume; essay; technology assessment; and interview (once all the aforementioned has been submitted).
