Fire Protection Technology

Maryland is one of the few institutions in the world offering degrees in Fire Protection, acknowledging the new opportunities and demands for highly educated fire protection engineers. The online program is designed with the working engineer in mind and incorporates the latest scientific and technological practices. The thirty-credit program can be completed in fifteen months.

Requirements

Undergraduate: Accredited high school diploma, GED score of at least 225 and no score below 40 on any of the tests. Graduate: bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college/university and an overall GPA of at least 3.0. Students with a GPA of 2.5 or better can apply for provisional status.
